Photography School

This practical training workshop will teach you all the basic digital camera techniques and technology as well as the core photographic concepts such as depth of field, shutter speed, exposure, colour theory and composition.

The focus of this course will be to gain a working understanding of digital photography, the basic camera operations, photographic styles and processes used to create images that reflect both a technical and aesthetic awareness.

Through an intensive, hands-on approach, the course will cover camera menus and functions, exposure techniques and an introduction to the history, composition and creative expression of photography. Classes will incorporate demonstrations, discussions and critiques, all of which will encourage you to explore the full potential of your camera.

Students must have a digital SLR camera or digital compact camera with full manual control, including a range of shutter speeds and aperture settings.

Flexible weekday morning training schedule between the hours of 9am - 12pm. Two sessions included, covering the theory and practical usage of camera equipment.
