
Camtronics recognises the importance of your privacy and will not pass your details to any third party, or company, except those that request your information to enable repair completion under the terms of the manufacturers warranty.
All fixed labour charges quoted are based on a minimum labour completion rate. If a repair should require more labour due to the time involved with the repair, then an estimate will be provided for additional time.
Camtronics will provide estimates if requested, and has the right to re-estimate if further faults are found which require additional parts.A deposit is required on receipt of your unit to cover the initial inspection of £25.00. If the item is repaired then this amount is deducted from the final bill leaving only a balance to pay. If your unit is not repaired, then this fee covers our labour cost involved with the assessment, and our time spent trying to obtain parts or information which is not available.If no fault is found with your item, then an inspection fee will be charged. This is covered by the deposit charge of £25.00.
All completed repairs will have a labour warranty of twelve months provided from Camtronics. This warranty covers labour for a twelve month period from the completion date, but no parts, other than the part or parts replaced at the time of repair. We cannot Guarantee that your item will not fail with further unrelated electronic or mechanical failures.
All Warranty repair costs if the item is under guarantee, will be claimed back from the Manufacturer. This only applies if a claim back system exists and if the product is covered under the terms and conditions of the Manufacturers guarantee. A copy of the original purchase receipt must be provided with all warranty repairs.
Any warranty repair found to be damaged by Sand, Liquid, Impact or misuse, will not be covered by Manufacturers Warranty. An estimate will be provided and labour charges will apply.
Where any media is present, we cannot guarantee to preserve the data on that media form, and any illicit content will be reported to the authorites.
Any Firmware (operating system) upgrades to products may be carried out during the repair process, unless we are requested by the customer not to do so.
Camtronics cannot guarantee if a product is returned unrepaired, to be able to return the item with the exact original fault. This is due to development of the fault, or repair unable to be completed due to excessive costs, long term reliablility, or parts not being available to complete the repair.
Camtronics will endeavour to complete your repair within 10 working days, subject to technical information and spare parts being available. However, we cannot Guarantee a completion date and this is only a guide.
Customers will be notified by SMS messaging, e-mail and then by post, if any product has been with us for 6 months and not been advised to us of a collection date. This product will then be scrapped and used for spares recycling.
